Book Tag : Would You Rather ?

Book tags! I love book tags and when I saw this one over on Rattle The Stars, I decided to give it a go at it myself!

So, lets get to it!

Would you rather only read ebooks or audiobooks?

I love highlighting and writing notes so I would have to go with ebooks for this one.

Would you rather kiss the villain of your favourite book/series or hurt your favourite character?

I guess it would depend on the villain and what defines hurt. If it just means an insult then maybe I guess, but I guess to absolutely chose between two evils, I’d go with kissing the villain. It would be a one time thing, right?

Would you rather read all the books you want every single month but barely remember the plot or read 2 books a month but remember everything about them?

This one is hard because I would love to be able to read like there is no tomorrow but I don’t feel like it would matter if I couldn’t remember anything about said books. So I would have to go with 2 books a month, 24 books a year still ain’t that bad, I would just have to chose them wisely.

Would you rather read a book you love while listening to an album you hate or read a book you hate while listening to an album you love?

Ooohhhh, it would definitely have to be an album I love. If I hate the music, it would probably put me in such a bad mood that I just wouldn’t enjoy whatever it is I’m reading.

Would you rather be able to go to your favourite fantasy world but no one can see you or go to a fantasy world you hate but everyone can see you?

I…..I hate this. My favorite fantasy world, just because they can’t see me doesn’t mean I can’t like leave notes and talk to people and stuff, right? I could be like a ghost, I guess.

Would you rather only read historical fiction novels or sci-fi?

Sci-Fi, hands down. It’s already one of my favorite things to read. Sorry historical fiction.

Would you rather only read the books but never watch the movie/TV show adaptations or only watch the adaptations but never read the books?

Books, hands down.

Would you rather only read backlist titles or new releases?

A new release become backlist eventually and some new releases are sometimes over hyped, so I have to go with backlist on this one.

Would you rather only read standalones or series?

I love stand alone stories. Series sometimes break my heart, looking at you Clive Barker, still waiting for that next book in the Abarat series.

Would you rather always be able to guess the twist, or never being able to guess the twist?

I would love to not see the twist for once, but it would have to be done in a way that is natural to the story and just totally out of fucking left field. There was a book I read last year where things were sprinkled along the way and then at the end some other character just threw me for a whole freaking loop. It has to be done well.
